JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT/PURPOSE:
The Learnership programme aims to create a pipeline of young talent within the business. The programme offers learners an opportunity to gain on-the-job practical workplace experience while providing ongoing support and training. The learnership programme runs for 12 months and awards a full Short-Term Insurance Qualification NQF 4 after its successful completion.

Claims Learnership Programme (x2)
At the end of the Learnership programme, the learner will be able to process and handle claims within the delegated authority by ensuring validity, assessing liability, and negotiating settlement, whilst ensuring excellent customer service and cost containment. The management of claims should be within the governed framework to ensure compliance with the short-term insurance regulations.
Centre of Excellence Learnership Programme (x1)
At the end of the Learnership programme, the learner will be able to identify training / learning, designing / sourcing training and learning solutions, delivering, and evaluating training needs to support the overall organisational Learning & Development culture. The learner will also assist the organisation with the planning of human resources development and meeting skills development and Employment Equity requirements.
Stakeholder Management Learnership Programme (x2)
At the end of the Learnership programme, the learner will be able to handle internal and external stakeholder relationships and contribute to overall GWP (Gross Written Premium). The learner will also be able to identify stakeholders, analyse their needs and expectations; and plan and implement various tasks to engage with them.
