Business Need/Purpose of Role:
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timeous processing of invoices and returns for all credit purchases made on behalf of Weir Minerals Africa
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- Degree or Diploma (Technicon) not college
- Grade 12
Minimum Experience:
- 2 Years working experience
Key Tasks:
- Monitor and support corrective actions to improve recoveries
- Monitor and support corrective actions to control expenditure variances
- Monitor and support corrective actions of inventory related master data
- Preparation and co-ordination of manufacturing budgets
- Furnish detailed reports to Manufacturing department heads of all budgeted expenses
- Determining output figures for Budget period
- Determine and calculate output ratio’s by cost centre
- Generate monthly variance analysis on all manufacturing variances for manufacturing departmental heads
- Communicate and guide manufacturing / Service department on solutions for future planning on avoiding future variances
- Reporting – daily, weekly & monthly key reports
- Adhere to all HSE and housekeeping requirements
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all
Minimum Skills/Abilities:
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels
- Computer literacy (advance Excel)
- Accurate, attention to detail
- Assertive
- Proactive in solving problems
- Good communication skills
