Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
The successful candidates shall render professional, competent and reliable services that are pro-active
Continually strive to improve operating efficiencies
Ensure accuracy and timeous completion of all orders
Ensure proper quality assurance with QA Staff
Facilitate returns, exchanges in timeous and efficient manners
Be friendly and engaging with Tenants of the Building
Be friendly and courteous to patrons of the Building
Ensure Equipment is full charged and always ready to use safely stored and well maintained
Capture copy of purchase receipt for every part of an order
Communicate timeously and effectively with DC manager or Head of Operations if unable to complete orders
Hand business purchase cards back to DC manager at the end of each day
Manage and use purchase card with care and due diligence
Report to DC manager daily, on time and in uniform
Familiarize themselves with the systems and devices necessary to carry out the Services
Familiarize themselves with the items forming the basis of the picking tasks
Form good working relations with the tenants at the Buildings
Pack orders to the satisfaction of the DC manager and the Appointed Manager in line with the training
Complete all orders when they commence. A picker cannot begin a pick and go home or take a break during an order or before an order is complete. If an emergency arises, the picker must notify the DC manager
The Picker staff shall ensure correctness of each order by carefully and diligently comparing orders placed by customers against orders picked by pickers
Take care to complete orders and ensure that the quality of orders is always of a high standard
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Must be able to read and write
No criminal record
2-4 years experience as Picker & Packer
