Grain Field Chickens, a subsidiary of VKB Agriculture (PTY) Ltd, is a dynamic role player in the integrated broiler industry with an abattoir in Reitz, in the North Eastern Free State. Job Description

As part of the Engineering Department the successful incumbent will be responsible for capturing job cards and other documents in line with company standards.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent.
• A technical qualification/ course will be an advantage.
• 2 – 5 Years’ admin/ data-capturing experience in an Engineering/ Workshop environment.
• Good understanding of invoicing and Job Cards.
• Some parts store experience will be an advantage.
• On-Key system/ Pragma knowledge advantageous.
• Demonstratable computer literacy: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A willingness to work overtime, incl. on weekends when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurate data capturing.
• Opening and closing of job cards.
• Scanning documents onto File Director.
• General filing of documents within required deadline.
• Compiling Reports and taking minutes.
• Must take full responsibility in the absence of the Planner.
• Any other tasks as may be required by line manager.

• Communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be well-organized.
